Aamir Khan threw a grand Diwali party along with his wife Kiran Rao. Aamir took time off from the shoot of his action film Dhoom 3 to spend a day with his 16 year old
daughter Ira on her birthday. Aamir left the sets of his film Dhoom 3 at lunch time and was later seen having a quiet lunch with his daughter Ira. Aamir had requested Aditya Chopra much in advance to give him half a day off so that he could be around daughter Ira on her special day. In fact, he made sure to come earlier in the morning at around 7 am so that some of his solo portions could be shot and he could finish his work beforehand!

After the lunch, some of Ira’s friends came over to his Bandra residence, and Aamir spent the evening hanging out with them. To add cherry to the cake, he had also arranged a surprise party for her calling all the family members at home. All the close family members came over to wish Ira on her special day.

Amir khan Father Tahir Hussain .

Tahir Hussain, father of Mr. Perfectionist of Bollywood, Aamir Khan, was a film maker, producer, director, screenwriter and actor.

He died on 2nd February in the year 2010 following a massive heart attack. He was just 71 at the time of his death. He longed to live with Aamir’s mother and his sons just before his death and therefore he moved to Bella Vista, Aamir’s second flat in Bandra West. Just before he passed away, it was one happy family reunion for the Khan family!

Mr. Hussain,who divorced his first wife, directed the movie Tum Mere Ho starring son, Aamir Khan and beauty Juhi Chawla. He happens to be the younger brother of well known producer, director and writer Nasir Khan. He is related to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad.

He produced films like Madhosh (1974), Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke (1993), Tum Mere Ho (1990), Locket(1986),Dulha Bikta Hai (1982), Khoon Ki Pukaar (1978), Janam Janam Na Saath (1977), Zakhmee (1975), Anamika(1973) and Caravan (1971).

Troubles crept in between Aamir Khan and his dad regarding Aamir’s brother Faisal’s protective custody who went missing for around two days. He was then traced at a farmhouse near Khandala. Aamir said that his brother (Faisal) was suffering from schizophrenia whereas his dad claimed that Faisal was suffering from a mild depression. Aamir wanted to keep his brother with himself as his dad was financially incapable to keep him. But his dad wanted to keep Faisal with him and Faisal too wanted to stay with his father.

Aamir and his father both filed separate court applications seeking Faisal’s custody. The court admitted both the applications and waited for medical report from JJ hospital on Faisal’s mental health. The medical report said that Faisal indeed suffers from schizophrenia as his brother Aamir had claimed. But Aamir lost the custody to his father as court decided to stick to Faisal’s statement, who wanted to stay with his father. This was the only time when the actor (Aamir) went against his father which led to a tiff between them!
