Aamir Khan’selder sister Nikhat Khan is a film producer. Nikhat helped produce her father’s first directorial venture Tum Mere Ho in 1990 which featured her brother Aamir.

She is married to Santosh Hegde and settled in Pune. Nikhat has two children Seher and Shravan.

Nikhat celebrated her 50th birthday recently and Aamir Khan postponed his Dhoom 3 shoot to celebrate his sister’s birthday. On the very occasion, Nikhat was caught speaking about her family, Aamir Khan and her newly born nephew Azad Rao Khan. In a candid chit-chat, Nikhat revealed that Azad bears stark resemblance to Aamir Khan. She also added that Azad is cute and charming. He is picking up things like his daddy (Aamir). Aamir’s mother, Zeenatji says that ‘there are certain distinct mannerisms which have an uncanny resemblance to Aamir’. She not only spoke about Azad but also disclosed some interesting facts about Aamir Khan when he was a child. When asked whether Aamir used to pull her leg, she answered, ‘Not me, as I was the elder’!

The occasion also had actor Imran Khan present. Nikhat is the aunt of Imran. Imran being the first nephew, she shares a very good relationship with him!
She further adds, ‘It’s not that we don’t catch up now and then. But Aamir is so busy and always ends up getting calls in between when we meet’.

Nikhat always keeps abreast of her bro’s onscreen life. She always watches his movies. Most of the time she watches it before the film releases to give her feedback or else she makes it a point to watch it on the very first day of the film’s release. She never expected him to become an actor but she’s glad he did!

Farhat Khan – Sister

Farhat Khan is the younger sister of Taare Zamen Par actor Aamir Khan.

She resides in the US along with her sons.

Farhat is extremely close to her bhaaijaan and would often get bullied by him as a child as she was the youngest among the siblings.
